Gavarnie-Gèdre Ski Resort – France
In France, PGI Management was responsible for operation of the ski resort and assistance to municipality for designing and defining real state development. This included support in the development and implementation of safety signalization measures on slopes; avalanche risk plans and solution programs relating to
search and rescue plans.
Gavarnie – Gedre project also included management of the opening and closing certain slopes; human resource training; implementation of slope and heavy equipment maintenance plans.
Core elements of the management structure, provided by PGI, included management of parking services,
marketing and sales program, such as budget management for marketing and internal communication systems, execution of media marketing schemes, etc.
Capacity-building for eco-tourism activities and food & beverage in mountain were carried out through management of eco-tourism and outdoor activities and management of the “Especières” restaurant / bar.
